Better known previously as the wholly-owned subsidiary of Harrisons and Crosfield PLC, Harrisons is one of the oldest, largest and most established sales, marketing, warehousing, distribution and services organisation in Malaysia, particularly in East Malaysia where Harrisons has been in business for 102 years and developed a very good distribution network that ranks amongst thebest in the country. Harrisons also has a major presence in the shipping agency industry in East Malaysia where it represents a large number of major international and domestic shipping lines. In East Malaysia, Harrisons is also one of the few companies to maintain a network of 3 fully computerised travel ticketing and sales offices.

Harrisons Sabah S/B, the oldest company in the Group which was founded in 1893 under the name of “Darby & Company” was acquired by Harrisons & Crosfield, London.
9 March 1990
Jantoco Trading Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated with the intention of acquiring the trading operations from Harrisons & Crosfield Plc.
September 1990
Jantoco Trading Sdn. Bhd. acquired the Malaysian trading operations from Harrisons & Crosfield Plc. with the Senior Management and support of Noah Foundation and Bumi Raya as it’s main shareholders.
3 September 1991
Jantoco Trading Sdn. Bhd. changed its name to Harrisons Holdings Sdn Bhd.
28 APRIL 1992
Converted to a public company as Harrisons Holdings (Malaysia) Berhad
25 OCTOBER 1999
Harrisons Holdings (Malaysia) Berhad listed on Bursa Malaysia.

Harrisons Holdings (Malaysia) Berhad is 100 years old.
