Whilst we pursue our business, we acknowledge our responsibility to our employees, business partners and the communities in which we carry out our business activities as well as the environment we operate in. We have adopted corporate social responsibility policy focusing on areas of environment, community, workplace and marketplace. Some of the activities undertaken during the year include:
- Fire safety training conducted by Bomba;
- Crisis management training attended by the Safety and Health Committee members;
- Adhoc donations and visits to underprivileged children’s institutions including participation in fundraising activities;
- Visit to old folks home;
- A six-month “Old Clothing Donation Campaign” for donation of old clothes to poor villages;
- Participation in City Hall’s “Anti-littering Campaign”
- Participation in Blood Donation Campaign; and
- First-aid training for staff by the Malaysian Red Cresent Society.
